Welcome

Frank Sinatra Interview

In the 1920's, radio began informing and entertaining the masses with programming that ranged from news broadcasts to musical performances, from comedy shows to horror stories. A wide variety of programs would come and go over the years until the mid 1960's when, according to some, the golden age of radio would end with the final broadcasts of Suspense, and Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar. But what did folks listen to for those forty-odd years of radio?

Since 2007, RelicRadio.com has provided podcasts of some of the great classic radio dramas making them easy to listen to and enjoy, and giving brief background information on the series being featured. But there is often more to the story than time for the telling.

This site will feature background information, as in-depth as possible, for as many old time radio series as we can find.
